Francisco Armando Correa
Francisco Armando Correa Guerrero, age 36, of Merced, CA, passed away on February 3, 2025. Born on January 10, 1989, in Merced, CA, to Maria Guerrero and Felipe Correa. Armando was a loving father to Sebastian and Violet, his greatest pride and joy. He always said their births changed his life for the better and they felt that in the love he showered them in.
Armando’s passions shaped his vibrant personality. He found joy in barbecuing, working in the yard, planting flowers, enjoying delicious food, traveling, and indulging in sports and gambling. He loved nothing more than cooking for others and seeing them savor his meals. Known for his generosity, he would gladly give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Armando had a deep love for the outdoors, whether hiking, riding his bike, or simply being surrounded by nature. His adventurous spirit and boundless energy often found him climbing trees or taking on daring challenges. He loved floating down the river or leaping into the water from the highest rocks he could find, always
seeking that rush of excitement and adventure. He was always up for trying something new and enjoyed telling jokes around a bonfire with friends, especially while watching sports. A natural protector, Armando held those closest to him in the highest regard, always ready to lend a hand or offer guidance. He proudly considered himself a jack of all trades, convinced that there was no problem too big for him to solve.
Armando is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Guerrero, and is survived by his longtime partner, Danielle Sotelo, and their children, Sebastian and Violet. He is also survived by his brother Raudel Correa (Vyonnie, Addie,
Israel, Anastasia), his sister Erica Luna (Denise, Daisy, Ameer), as well as numerous friends and extended family
members who will miss him deeply.
A funeral service will be held on February 13, 2025. The Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, located at 519 W 12th St., Merced, CA 95340. A reception will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Italo Lodge, located at 1351 W 18th St., Merced, CA 95340. Though we mourn his passing, we find solace in knowing that Armando is now at peace with the mother he loved so dearly, surrounded by the love he gave to others and the cherished memories we will hold forever.
